The Peace and Justice Group of Waldo County in collaboration with the Belfast Free Library and the Friends of the Belfast Free Library will show the important documentary The Librarians on Wednesday, June 17, at 6 pm in the Abbott Room. The documentary captures the courage of librarians both locally and nationwide as they step up against book censorship, and for our Freedom to Read and the protection of our First Amendment Rights. Due to the generosity and commitment of the Belfast Free Library and the Friends of the Library this award winning film is free and open to all.
