Who Can Get a Juvenile Library Card?

How Do I Get a juvenile card?

Visit the Children’s Circulation Desk on the 2nd Floor of the Library and request a new patron form. Fill in the relevant information including the child’s name, address, guardian’s name, and contact information. The form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Return signed form to the 2nd Floor Circulation Desk.

All cards have an annual renewal.

How Can i use a juvenile card?

Materials checked out to a juvenile card are for the child’s edification and entertainment. Adults may not use a juvenile card to borrow material for themselves. Adults wishing to borrow personal material may get their own library card following the link above.

Juvenile cards may be used to check out books, DVDs, audiobooks, video games, and equipment from our Library of Things, as well as access the internet using a public computer on the Children’s Floor. They may also be used within the library’s Reciprocal Borrowing Program.

Juvenile cards cannot be used to borrow museum or park passes.
