Makerspaces are places for people to create, build, and craft. Our space provides the tools for you to be creative and combines old technology, like sewing machines, with new technology, like scanners, laptops, and more.

Our Makerspace has:
– 10 PC laptops
– 1 MacBook with Adobe Creative Cloud’s suite of products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.)
– Multi-format color printer
– High-resolution scanner
– Bluetooth-accessible wall-mounted monitor
– VHS-to-DVD converter
– Video camcorder, tripod, lighting equipment, & green screen
– Microphone
– Over-ear headphones
– Sewing machines

We have drop-in hours when you can use any of the available equipment weekly on Mondays from 10am-12pm and Thursdays 1pm-3pm in the Conference Room on the library’s third floor.

The Makerspace is also available by appointment. Contact the Reference Librarian at [email protected] or 338-3884 ext. 25 to book time to use the space.
