Find out how enter Roald Dahl's Imaginourmous Story Challenge and get started on your story!

Roald Dahl’s stories often started as tiny ideas scribbled into one of his beloved “ideas books”— these little ideas would later become the stories, characters, inventions, and imaginative worlds featured in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, MatildaFantastic Mr. FoxThe BFG, and many more. Inspiration for a story idea could come from anywhere, anywhere at all, and even the biggest and best ideas start small.

The Imaginormous Challenge is all about coming up with the most imaginative story ideas you can possibly think of!

Open to all children in the US aged 5-12, you simply need to submit your idea for a story in 100 words or fewer for a chance to win one of five incredible prizes.

There is only one judging criterion: Pure Imagination.

Don’t dilly! Don’t dally! Willy Wonka’s next FIVE Golden Ticket winners must be found! “Mr. Wonka will transform the five winning story ideas into extraordinary creations beyond anyone’s wildest dreams…” For a list of prizes visit:
