Welcome to the Teen’s Page!

The BFL Teen Room welcomes all young people ages 11 – 17. Designed with the help of a local Teen Advisory Board, this multipurpose area features our Young Adult collection, computers, and comfortable spaces for work and socialization.

Free Entry to the Maine Discovery Museum!

Use your Belfast Free Library card to book a day pass to the Maine Discovery Museum in Bangor – Discoveries Await!

A Free Entry Certificate is available to borrow using any Belfast Free Library card in good standing. The Certificates can be used for one day, up to 8 people.

Visit the Library’s Youth Services Desk on the 2nd Floor or call (207) 338-3884 ext. 26 to ask about availability and how to obtain your certificate.

Teen Writing Table

Gather with fellow teen writers! At the Writing Table, you can share your work or simply use the quiet space to hang-out and write in a relaxed and non-judgmental space. This is a non-instructional program meant only to facilitate a safe and cozy writing environment. No homework, no pressure! Notebooks and prompts will be provided.
