The Friends of Belfast Library Present Mary Anne Driscoll in Concert

On Sunday, August 20 at 3pm, Friends of Belfast Free Library is offering a free concert by Mary Anne Driscoll in the Gammans Room. Well known in the area as a composer, performer and educator, she will perform works by Abbey Lincoln, Gershwin, Mercer, Van Heusen, Rogers and Hammerstein and others from the Great American Songbook. Flute and Piano Duo

Flutist Maho Hisakawa and pianist Barbara Kemp will present a concert Sunday, August 12, 3 p.m., in the Gammans Room. The concert will benefit the Friends of Belfast Free Library in their support of the library. Their program includes music by Richard Rodney Bennett, Poulenc, J. S. The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble

The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble will present a concert of classical music t 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 1, in the Gammans Room. This ensemble of eight professional players centered in Dover-Foxcroft, ME, is dedicated to the performance of classical masterworks in the towns of central Maine. Works by Haydn, Kodaly, Brahms, Gershwin, and Kalliwoda will be performed as solos, duos, and ensembles. Suggested donations are Adults $12.00, Seniors $9.00, students free.
