Welcome to the Belfast Free Library’s Summer Reading Program!

It’s Grow Time! Starting June 22nd, children and teens can join in the Belfast Free Library’s Summer Reading Program! To begin, pick up a gameboard from the library’s 2nd Floor Youth Services Desk. Read books and complete other actions from the Summer Activities List to earn points. For every activity you complete, write what you did on the Activity List Record and mark off one space on your board.

Once you’ve marked off a prize space and the date for that prize has arrived, you can collect your prize(s) from the 2nd Floor Youth Services Desk! Prizes remain available all the way to the end of Summer Reading. This means that if you aren’t able to make it to the library during the week a prize is released, it can be collected any time up to the final day! (This year’s final day is August 14th.)

July 6th, Animal Shaped Mini-Kickballs

July 13th, Wild Cow Creamery Free Ice Cream Coupon

July 20th, Altruistic Prize! A donation is made to Avian Haven on the player’s behalf.

July 27th, Free Paperback Book!
