Borrow a Pass from the Library

With your adult library card you may borrow passes to the Farnsworth Museum in Rockland, Maine, a pass to a Maine State Park , and the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

 


 

Belfast Free Library now offers its patrons a one day free family admission to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens with advance booking!

How to Reserve a pass:
At least one week ahead of your requested visit date, email [email protected] and include:

  • Your adult library card number
  • The number of adults and children in your family (The Gardens limits admission to one adult with up to five children/grandchildren or two adults with up to ten children/grandchildren under the age of 18)
  • Preferred dates and arrival time for visit, with first, second and third choices

Belfast Free Library can send one family per day from May-October, so plan ahead!   If your date is not already taken, you will receive email tickets for your family group, with no rain date.

 


 

The Belfast Free Library has a Maine State Park Pass for you to use free by checking it out with your adult library card.

The pass goes out for three days on a first come/first served basis and allows a vehicle and all its occupants’ free access to a State Park in Maine.

Circulation rules:
3 day checkout,
Covers entrance fee only
Pass is not accepted at some locations

No renewals / $5.00 per day overdue

 

 


 

The Belfast Free Library has four passes to the Farnsworth Art Museum you can borrow with your library card.
Each pass checks out for three days and allows one person into the Museum for free. You may take out more than one pass per card.
Passes are available at the main circulation desk.

Circulation Rules:
The passes checkout for three days and covers the entrance fee for one person.
The passes may not be renewed or put on hold. There is a $1.00 per day overdue fee.
