The BFL Teen Room welcomes all young people ages 11 – 17. Designed with the help of a local Teen Advisory Board, this multipurpose area includes our Young Adult book collection, computers, and comfortable places to work and socialize.

Solar System Mobiles are available to "Take and  Make" starting February 7th. 

Pick up supplies on the second floor, while they last!  

This "Take and Make" is for teens 11- 17 years old.

Short Story Contest for Teens

Calling all teens, 11-17, to write a 2000 word, or less, short story. The theme is LOVE. Unrequited love, family love, love for pets, love of books.. all love.

Email submissions, or drop off on the 2nd floor of library by 02/23/23.

Include name, age, email, or phone number

Submissions will be published on the Belfast Free Library teen website, and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!! Have fun!!!

 


 

New Teen Books

Access free audiobooks and ebooks with your library card through Maine's Cloud Library.

At this time BFL patrons have free access to all of the great resources through Tumblebooks, too! These databases offer hundreds of interactive books that read to your child. More audiobooks are available through their AudioBookCloud. Check out the Tumblemath e-books database, too.
