Winterizing Gardens with Jean Vose

After a bountiful season, it’s time to prepare your garden for winter – and ensure a beautiful and vibrant spring! This program walks one through what should be done to get your property including gardens ready – from cleaning out the vegetable garden to protecting trees and shrubs.

Instructor Jean Vose, Nobleboro, has two passions in life – gardening and beekeeping. She is an experienced Master Gardener of more than 25 years and provides horticultural programs for community groups. She is retired and shares her home with golden retriever Honey, kitty Annie and hives of honeybees. Jean is active in many local organizations including her church, town historical society, cooperative extension and the beekeepers club.
