Belfast Historical Society Presentation

Moving the Charles Treadwell House- An Old Belfast Landmark is Saved in 1930.

Louise Brewster, of Lexington, Mass. bought the old house to save it from the wrecking ball and made arrangements for it to be moved from the corner of Miller and High Streets to its current location 1 mile south on Northport Avenue.
