Community Climate Discussions, Continued: Helping Belfast Be Resilient to Big Storms & Flooding

October 18, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The City of Belfast’s Climate Crisis Committee (CCC) with support from All of Belfast Climate Dialogues (ABCD) is leading in the development of a climate action plan for Belfast. Following a short presentation on the impacts of storm water, our discussion will focus on actions property owners can take today, actions we can take together in the coming year or two, and more significant infrastructure improvements that we want to make happen in the future. Join us October 18th for this the second in our series of community climate conversations that began on June 14th seeking public input to develop a climate action plan (CAP) for Belfast. The purpose of a CAP is to document citizens’ values and priorities to guide decisions and lay out a timeline of actions to increase community resilience. This discussion, moderated by the ABCD team will focus on storm water impacts from big storms and flooding.
