Vegetable Gardening for Beginners with Vina Lindley

Interested in growing your own vegetable garden this year? Harvesting and eating fresh home-grown veggies can be a rewarding and healthy hobby but it can also feel a little overwhelming or downright discouraging if you’ve tried and had failures. If you’ve been wondering where to start, join this interactive session to learn more about deciding what, where and how to grow your first (or second or third) vegetable garden.

This workshop is being offered by University of Maine Cooperative Extension’s Viña Lindley who has a background in education and has been teaching about growing, harvesting, and preserving foods with UMaine Cooperative Extension for 8 years and is an avid home gardener. Her favorite thing to grow is garlic and she enjoys sharing her passion for gardening with others.
