Introduction to Technical Analysis

This event is free and open to the public. It is the first event for the newly formed Maine Traders & Active Investors Group, a networking and educational group for Belfast and surrounding area.

Organizer Bruce Powers, CMT, will present an Introduction to Technical Analysis from his over 20 years of experience in the financial markets. Technical analysis is a tool to engage financial markets in a well thought out and professional manner. It uses price charts to identify trends and patterns that can be utilized to improve timing and risk management. Used extensively by active market participants, technical analysis and charting techniques help provide an edge when engaging financial markets. A brief analysis of the current markets will also be included with discussion encouraged.

Following Bruce’s talk there will be some time for dialogue and discussion on interests and ideas for future events and get togethers.
