Sketch Book Journal Workshop

In conjunction with her exhibit in the Kramer Gallery, Rita Swidrowski will share some possibilities of visual journaling in a hands-on workshop. After offering examples, published books, and prompts, as well as encouraging participants to share their sources and work, Rita will send us off on a journey of discovery right in our library. The workshop is ideal for beginners as well as experienced writers and artists. The focus will be on the process of capturing thoughts, images and stories on paper. Drawing and writing tools will be provided, but participants are strongly encouraged to bring their favorite tools and materials!
