“The Maine Climate Council’s Action Plan: What Does it Mean for Belfast?”

December 14, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Overshadowed by the pandemic, but much worth celebrating, Maine’s first-ever Climate Action Plan launched December 1. On Monday, December 14 at 6 pm, The Belfast Free Library will host a zoom presentation with Brian Ambrette, from the Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future, entitled
“The Maine Climate Council’s Action Plan: What Does it Mean for Belfast?”

Ambrette will describe the plan’s recommendations overall, and look at ways for Belfast to coordinate and collaborate with the state on its actions, since municipalities will be central to the plan’s implementation. The presentation will include a Q&A. The talk is sponsored jointly by Belfast’s Climate Crisis Committee and The Belfast Free Library.
