Celebrate Women’s History Month : VOICES OF  PEACE & RESISTANCE

The Peace & Social Justice Forum/Waldo County will hold a POETRY EVENING to share the words of women and people in struggle, in this time of both war and peace.  Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 6 pm in the Abbott Room, Belfast Free Library.   

We invite all poets and poetry lovers, to choose a poem or 2 to share, written particularly but not exclusively by women, as we witness this challenging time in support of the quest for peace and justice. Join local poets and readers to share work by poets offering their determination, resilience, humor and grief.
