A Memorial Poetry Reading in honor of Karie Friedman (1940-2017), Montville poet and founder of The Poets Table. Ten poets (former members of The Poets Table) will read their own poems as well as Karie’s and share memories. Donations accepted.

Native Belfast resident Martha Hills and her husband Donald DePoy, touring as Me & Martha, will perform a free concert in the Abbott Room at the library on Wednesday, August 24th from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Friends of the Library Book Sale

Book Sale and Book Intake The Friends will have a pop up book sale from 10am -1pm in the front plaza of the library (or in the lobby if it rains). They will also be taking donations of up to 12 good quality current books per person.
