Revolutionary War Era Book Discussion Group

The Belfast Free Library will partner with the Game Loft to host a community book discussion series on the theme of the American Revolutionary War and its impact on midcoast Maine. The books to be read and discussed are, Come Spring, by Ben Ames Williams and The Reverend Jacob Bailey: Maine Loyalist, by James S. Leamon. Each of the four discussions will be facilitated by a scholar and will be held Thursday afternoons beginning March 10, from 3-5pm in the Abbott Room of the Belfast Free Library.

For this session, the topic will be ” War for Independence or Revolution? : An examination of the causes of the war and choosing sides”. Noted author, and historian Barry Rodrigue will facilitate.
