This year’s MSBA Book Group gets underway with a fun book filled with chickens, magic, and mystery:

First Book: Unusual Chickens for the Exceptional Poultry Farmer by Kelly Jones

Future chicken farmers can pick up tips for raising chickens along with protagonist Sophie, who moves to her great-uncle Jim’s farm and inherits his extraordinary chickens (with superpowers).
