Meeting the Neighbors : An Introduction to Local Birds

Photographer and naturalist  Evan Henerberry will take older children on a bird hike from our chairs this summer.

Nature is all around us and we share our yards with lots of interesting creatures. Using projected photos and some basics of birding, you will get to know some of your most colorful and talkative

neighbors.  From the Northern Mockingbird imitating your ringtone, to Bluebirds that aren’t actually blue, get to know some of the best neighbors you might not have met!
