We all love spending time at the coast, but have you ever wondered what lives beyond the coast? Sharks4Kids wants to dive deeper into the ocean ecosystem that lies just off the shore, and introduce the local communities to the species of sharks that are found in the Gulf of Maine.
Sharks4Kids is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating the next generation of shark advocates. We offer free presentations all about sharks and their crucial role in the ecosystem. First we will go over what a shark is, focusing on species found here. We will also discuss current threats to shark populations and how we can all help keep the ocean a safe place for sharks.
Suitable for all age groups, these presentations run 45 minutes to an hour in length. Utilizing slideshow presentations so the audience can see some impressive photos and videos of these majestic animals. Everyone will leave with some fun shark activities to do at home!
